This privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") governs how we, DDAIM Inc. ("DD-AIM", "we", "our" or "us"), use, collect and store Personal Data pertaining to you ("you") in a business context, as a result of your business interactions with us, or DD-AIM products or processes referencing and/or linking to this Privacy Policy. "Personal Data" means any information that can be used, alone or together with other data, to uniquely identify any living human being.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, so you can fully understand our practices in relation to Personal Data. By accessing or using our services, website or products you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any term provided herein, you may not access or use the products or services. Please note: you are not obligated by law to provide us with any personal information.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time and, therefore, we ask you to check back periodically for the latest version of the Privacy Policy, as indicated above. If there will be any significant changes made to the use of your Personal Data in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you by posting a notice on our website or by other means.
1. What Information We Collect, Why We Collect It, and How It Is Used
If you are a customer or a potential customer of DD-AIM (including if you have exchanged business cards with us and/or when you attend marketing events), the data we collect (as provided by you) is:
- Name
- Contact information (email, address, phone number, mobile number)
- Company
- Department
- Job Title
- Product of interest
In addition, we may collect log files regarding actions you perform with respect to emails you received from us.

If You Are Using Our Website
We automatically collect data about your interaction with our website and about our communications with you. We perform such automatic collection through use of cookies, unique identifiers, and similar technologies which allow us to collect information about the pages and screens you view, the links you click, and other actions you take when using our website and related services.
Certain portions of such data, as further described below, may also be collected from your device or software, including when the website is running in the background. 2. How We Protect and Store Your Information
We have implemented appropriate technical, organizational and security measures designed to reduce the risk of accidental destruction or loss, or the unauthorized disclosure or access to, Personal Data appropriate to the nature of the Personal Data concerned. However, please note that we cannot guarantee that the Personal Data will not be exposed as a result of unauthorized penetration to our servers. Nevertheless, we make commercially reasonable efforts to make the collection and security of such Personal Data consistent with this Privacy Policy and all applicable laws and regulations. As the security of Personal Data depends in part on the security of the computer, device or network you use to communicate with us and the security you use to protect your user IDs and passwords, please make sure to take appropriate measures to protect this Personal Data.
In addition to the retention periods mentioned in Section 1 above in some circumstances we may store your Personal Data for longer periods of time, for example (i) where we are required to do so in accordance with legal, regulatory, tax or accounting requirements, or (ii) for us to have an accurate record of your dealings with us in the event of any complaints or challenges, or (iii) if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation relating to your Personal Data or dealings.
3. How We Share Your Personal Data
In addition to the recipients described in Section 1, we may share your Personal Data as follows:
- To the extent necessary, with regulators, to comply with all applicable laws, regulations and rules, and requests of law enforcement, regulatory and other governmental agencies or if required to do so by court order
- If, in the future, we sell or transfer some or all of our business or assets to a third party, we will (to the minimum extent required) disclose Personal Data to a potential or actual third party purchaser of our business or assets. In the event that we are acquired by or merged with a third party entity, or in the event of bankruptcy or a comparable event, we reserve the right to transfer or assign Personal Data in connection with those events.
4. Additional Information Regarding Transfers of Personal Data
Where we transfer your Personal Data outside of DD-AIM, for example to third parties mentioned in Section 1 above, we will do so in accordance with the applicable law while we will obtain contractual commitments from them to protect your Personal Data. To the extent that you are protected under the GDPR, we bring to your attention that some of these assurances are well recognized certification schemes like the Standard Contractual Clauses, as amended from time to time which govern the transfer of Personal Data from within the EU to various other countries including to the United States. Where we receive requests for Personal Data from law enforcement or regulators, we carefully validate these requests before any Personal Data is disclosed.
5. Your Rights
Among other rights, the following rights (which may be subject to certain exemptions or derogations), shall apply to you:
- You have a right to access Personal Data held about you. Your right of access may normally be exercised free of charge, however we reserve the right to charge an appropriate administrative fee where permitted by applicable law.
- You have the right to request that we amend any Personal Data we hold about you that is inaccurate.
- You have the right to request the erasure of the Personal Data that relates to you. Please note that there may be circumstances in which we are required to retain your data, for example for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
- The right to object to or to request restriction of the processing of your Personal Data. However, there may be circumstances in which we are legally entitled to refuse your request.
- If you are an individual protected by the GDPR, we hereby inform you that you have a right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority (i.e., your place of habitual residence, place of work or place of alleged infringement) at any time. We ask that you please attempt to resolve any issues with us before you contact your local supervisory authority.
- The right to withdraw your consent. Please note that there may be circumstances in which we are entitled to continue processing your data, in particular if the processing is required to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
- If you are an individual protected by the GDPR, you also have a right to request details of the basis on which your Personal Data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, but you acknowledge that data transfer agreements may need to be partially redacted for reasons of commercial confidentiality.
You can exercise your rights by contacting us at info@dd-aim.com. Subject to legal and other permissible considerations, we will make every reasonable effort to honor your request promptly or inform you if we require further Personal Data in order to fulfil your request. When processing your request, we may ask you for additional Personal Data to confirm your identity and for security purposes, before disclosing the Personal Data requested to you. We reserve the right to charge a fee where permitted by law, for instance if your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
In the event that your request would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others (for example, would impact the duty of confidentiality we owe to others) or if we are legally entitled to deal with your request in a different way than initial requested, we will address your request to the maximum extent possible, all in accordance with applicable law.
6. Use of Anonymous Information
We may use Anonymous Information (as defined below) or disclose it to third party service providers in order to improve our website and services and enhance your experience with the website. We may also disclose Anonymous Information (with or without compensation) to third parties, including advertisers and partners. "Anonymous Information" means information which does not enable identification of an individual user, such as aggregated information about the use of our website.
7. Use of Tracking Technologies
Our website may use tools to collect information about use of the website. These tools collect information such as how often users visit this website, what pages they visit when they do so, and the different external channels they came from including social media platforms. We use the information we get from these tools to maintain and improve the website. We do not combine the information collected through the use of these tools with personally identifiable information.
8. Use by Children
We do not offer our products or services for use by children. If you are under 18, you may not use the website, or provide any Personal Data to the website without involvement of a parent or a guardian. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from, and/or about children.
9. Links to and Interaction with Third Party Products
The website may enable you to interact with or contain links to third party websites, mobile software applications and services that are not owned or controlled by us (each a "Third Party Service"). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Third Party Services. Please be aware that Third Party Services may collect Personal Data from you. For purposes of California privacy law, if you are a resident of California, please note the following additional disclosures about how your Personal Information is collected, processed, used, disclosed or retained by DD-AIM.
Depending on the nature of your interactions with DD-AIM, we may collect and use the following categories of Personal Information for the business and commercial purposes described in this Privacy Policy: identifiers and personal information categories listed in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e) (e.g. your name, email address, phone number, and date of birth); characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law (e.g. gender and age); commercial information; internet or other electronic network activity information (e.g. your browsing activity on our website, or your interactions with our online content and emails that we send you); geolocation data (i.e., your general location based on your IP address or ZIP code); professional information (e.g. your job title and business contact information); and sensitive information; and inferences.
Depending on the nature of your interactions with DD-AIM, we may use the above-described categories of Personal Information for business and commercial purposes.
We may collect the above-described categories of Personal Information from the following categories of sources: directly from you; automatically from your devices; from our service providers; from advertisers and partners; from social networking sites; from third-party data providers (e.g. data validation services; authentication service providers, and data enrichment providers); and from online marketing and segmentation providers and ad-targeting companies.
Depending on the nature of your interactions with DD-AIM, we may disclose each of the foregoing categories of Personal Information to our service providers (e.g. our technology vendors, CRM and data management platforms, data transmission companies, email service providers, data validation service providers, authentication service providers, data enrichment providers, and professional advisors for tax, legal, or similar purposes); online marketing and segmentation providers; ad-targeting companies; advertisers and partners; with entities for legal compliance purposes; as necessary to protect our company from fraudulent or illegal activity or to establish or exercise our legal rights; and with potential acquirers of parts of our business.
We may "sell" or "share" (as those terms are defined under California privacy law) the following categories of Personal Information: identifiers; personal information categories listed in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e); commercial information; Internet or other electronic network activity; geolocation data; and inferences. We sell and share this Personal Information with advertisers, advertising networks, and social networks. We do not knowingly sell or share the Personal Information of consumers under 16 years of age.
We do not use or disclose sensitive Personal Information for purposes other than those specified under applicable California privacy regulations.
